Established in 2018 within a former paper factory, Sidney & Matilda has become a cornerstone of Sheffield’s Cultural Industries Quarter. The venue encompasses a warehouse, basement, and courtyard, creating an intimate setting for a variety of events. Its late-night openings until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays make it a vibrant spot for dance music lovers.

Sidney and Matilda is also fantastic for live music from local bands!! They welcome and headline bands across many different genres, especially bands of the indie punk scene!! The atmosphere is great, even becoming electric as the night progresses (and the drinks flow). Definitely recommend, you don’t have to be a fresher or a grandad to enjoy it, just find a friend and have fun!
