Just months after the emotional farewell to the beloved Avon Street institution, Motion has found a new home on Victoria Terrace in St Philips.
Owners confirmed via an instagram post that ‘’We’re moving to a new space, designed to be a home for Bristol’s nightlife for years to come’’.
This will come as a huge relief to the Bristol and wider UK nightlife scene, after Motion established itself as one of the most iconic venues in the country. Following a lease lapse and non renewal by the landlord, the future of Motion was very much in doubt, with a fundraising campaign for a new home launched.
‘Momentum’, a new series of events, is Motion’s banner for its rebirth. Starting on 10th October with a night headlined by Y U QT (Tickets Here) and closing out on December 6th with a B2B from Elkka and Cinthie (Tickets Here).
