Ministry of Sound
Ministry of Sound opened in 1991 in a former bus garage on Gaunt Street, south London, and quickly became a cornerstone of the city’s clubbing culture. Inspired by New York’s house venues, it was one of the first London clubs dedicated to house music, and its commitment to top-tier sound quality set it apart from the start. Over the years, the venue has become legendary for its immersive sound systems, exceptional production, and unforgettable atmosphere. Although becoming more commercial over the years, Ministry continues to be a global clubbing icon, constantly evolving with frequent refurbishments to enhance sound, lighting, and overall experience, while still preserving the spirit that made it a cult favourite.
